Before making her mark on Love & Hip Hop, Tommie Lee worked as a video vixen, appearing in projects with artists like T.I. and Gucci Mane, Reality Tea reported. According to People, she first appeared on the VH1 hit series during its debut season but officially joined in Season 5, when Karen “KK” King and her sons, rappers Scrapp DeLeon and Sas, were introduced as supporting cast members. She was in a relationship with DeLeon at the time, and the show chronicled their tumultuous romance, as well as her feud with Tierra Becca.

Lee and DeLeon later split while he served time on drug trafficking charges. She subsequently became embroiled in a high-profile feud with Joseline Hernandez, which reportedly escalated into an off-camera incident in which Lee allegedly attempted to run Hernandez down with her car.

She was promoted to a full-time cast member for Seasons 6 and 7 but ultimately left the show in 2019, saying she was “miserable” while filming, BET reported.
