Hot off the presses!
Dave Chappelle has been tapped to host “Saturday Night Live” on November 12, marking his much-anticipated debut on the show.
Joining Chappelle in Studio 8H are revered hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest, who are releasing their first and last studio album in 18 years, titled “We Got It From Here … Thank You 4 Your Service” due out November 11. The new album is the last to feature founding member Phife Dawg, who died in March of this year due to complications relating to diabetes at the age of 45.
Making their “SNL” debuts, Benedict Cumberbatch will host the late-night show this Saturday (November 5) with musical guest Solange.
I predict the episode hosted by Chappelle, and musical guest “A Tribe Called Quest will be a ratings smash for NBC! The fact that it’s airing just after the most controversial presidential election in American history, certainly adds some weight to this, especially if Donald Trump wins.
