It’s #ChristmasMovieSZN, and more than likely for the past week or more you’ve seen the likes of Home Alone, A Christmas Story, This Christmas and more all on network, cable and premium cable television networks.
Also, for some reason, there seems to be a debate on what actually qualifies movies to be classified as a “Christmas movie.” Does it need a Santa? Snow? A villain trying to ruin the season? It’s even gotten to a point where the screenwriter of Die Hard had to speak out on whether that film is a Christmas movie or not.
So on Christmas Eve, after a fan tweeted Jordan Peele and asked him if Get Out was a Christmas movie, this is what the filmmaker had to say:
Let’s see… there’s a man with a white beard, multiple deer, a fire place, a bunch of snowflakes, and a guy named Chris goes down a dark hole! I’d say go for it! https://t.co/HjjDIE6Hzn

So in 2018, more of hot cocoa and eggnog by the fireplace with Get Out?
