Will Smith has come clean about which of his roles he feels is his worst.

In GQ’s “Actually Me” series, Smith revealed that his starring role in Wild Wild West is one that he considers “a thorn in my side.”

“To see myself in chaps…I don’t like it,” he said. He also talked about how starring in Wild Wild West made him miss out on playing Neo in The Matrix, which became one of Hollywood’s most game-changing and influential films. His wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, ended up starring in the Matrix sequel.

As far as his most favorite roles, he considers Men in Black and Pursuit of Happyness, in which he co-starred with his son Jaden, at the top.

“For different reasons, those are two almost-perfect movies,” he said.

Smith can be seen next in Emancipation, directed by Antoine Fuqua and based on the true story of “Whipped Peter,” a former slave who escaped brutality and joined the Civil War. His story–and the injuries he sustained from being abused as an enslaved person–became emblematic of the abolitionist movement of the 1800s.

His latest film, King Richard, stars Smith as Richard Williams, the father of tennis legends Venus and Serena Williams. The film is directed Reinaldo Marcus Green and also stars Aunjanue Ellis, Dylan McDermott, Jon Bernthal, Demi Singleton and Shadow and Act RISING honoree Saniyya Sidney. The film will debut in theaters Nov. 19 and is currently showing a film festivals including a preview this year’s Urbanworld Film Festival.
