Omaze and Will Smith are giving fans a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see Smith bungee jump over the Grand Canyon as part of Smith’s YouTube special Will Smith: The Jump. The event will take place on Smith’s YouTube page on his 50th birthday, September 25.

This March, YouTube creators and Smith fans Yes Theory challenged the actor to bungee jump from a helicopter. Smith is taking on the challenge for charity. Smith’s Westbrook Entertainment will produce the event along with Fly on the Wall Entertainment.

The jump isn’t just to celebrate Smith’s birthday; it’s also to raise awareness and donations for Global Citizen’s education campaigns.

“Will believes that every child should have access to the transformative power of an education, which provides the chance to thrive, live and succeed,” states the press release. “Through the Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation, he has chosen to partner with Global Citizen to support their ongoing advocacy work on education that allows them to support Education Cannot Wait, a global initiative that provides 75 million children in crisis-affected areas access to education.”

Fans can donate $10 to omaze.com/will as well as learn more about Smith’s charitable work. Fans’ donations will enter them for a chance to fly out to hang out with Smith and his family to celebrate his birthday and bungee jump, take a picture with Smith, and FaceTime with a friend with Smith.
