A family is preparing to file a lawsuit after their loved one died during the stampede that happened during Finesse2tymes and GloRilla‘s concert in New York on March 6. Brandy Miller was one of three people who died during the chaos.
Speaking to TMZ, Miller’s sister, Michelle, said the family plans to sue Glo and Finesse2tymes, along with the promoters and Rochester Main Street Armory, the site of the concert.
The family, according to Michelle, is in the process of retaining a high-profile attorney. The Millers said Brandy’s brother was also at the concert watching from a different area. From what he saw, the show was a chaos from the very beginning, the family told TMZ.
As Blavity previously reported, concertgoers started to panic during the show when they thought they heard gunshots. Officials later said there is “no evidence to support a shooting having occurred.”
In addition to the three people who died, several others were injured.
“The injuries appear to be as a result of a large crowd pushing towards the exits following accounts of individuals hearing what they believed to be gunshots,” Rochester Police Lt. Nicholas Adams told the Associated Press.
