The FAMU basketball team has had a less fruitful season winning only seven of their 29 games. The Rattlers finished the season with a 5-13 record, but the team has gained attention thanks to one courtside cheerleader.

Nailah Clarington, a senior cheerleader and captain for Florida A&M, has become the internet’s newest viral sensation after a video of her trash-talking opponents during the intense game surfaced.

According to TotalProSports, cameras focused on Clarington during the recent game as she vocalized her frustrations with the opposing team and refs. Clarington teased the coach about pulling his players from the game and even questioned if the ref was catching the right calls.

Many viewers online supported Clarington in her trash talk and love for basketball by reposting with funny comments.

“Messiah, yo coach says you suck. That was his words. Take him out of the game, Coach,” she shouted.

Clarington won’t be on the sideline for much longer as she is a senior soon to graduate. Maybe her newfound fans can request her presence at every game to bring that energy or even perhaps assistant coach (pun intended) — what do you think about that?
