Fans are speculating Savage X Fenty nixed its partnership with Ari Fletcher after she made controversial comments during her interview on the Don't Call Me White Girl podcast. The Chicago native revealed that she would have temper tantrums and would expect her significant other to brandish a gun, forcing her to stay, according to a clip shared by The Shade Room.
"Like, pull your gun out and show me like, 'b**h leave. I wish you would walk out the door," Fletcher said to the show's host, according to the clip posted to Instagram.
Her comments were not well received by people on social media and the 26-year-old later addressed the backlash.
"Yall are in the comments like 'Oh when I was in a relationship this boy pulled out…' Nobody cares," she said. "Nobody cares what happened to you."
Following her comments, people discovered that Fletcher's name and pictures had been removed from Savage X Fenty's website.
Rihanna snatching Ari Fletcher’s Savage X Fenty sponsorship because Ari told domestic violence victims “we don’t care” is truly the highlight of my day.
Ari literally went on Instagram Live to say she doesn’t care about DV victims’ trauma.
But, guess who does care Ari: Rihanna.— #FreeKeithDavisJr. (@_Rawilcox) January 7, 2022
Rihanna snatching up savage X sponsorships is my favorite form of entertainment ????????

Is Ari Fletcher not embarrassed? Now Rihanna hates you.

Rihanna has shown no tolerance for insensitive remarks on domestic violence. Last year, Fenty terminated its brand ambassador deal with Basketball Wives LA reality TV star Draya Michele after she made an insensitive joke about Megan Thee Stallion allegedly being shot by Tory Lanez, HotNewHipHop reports. Michele is on a campaign to regain her sponsorship with Savage X Fenty and profusely apologized for her hurtful remarks on social media.
