Jon Brewer, the director and producer of the aforementioned B.B. King feature documentary, BB King: The Life Of Riley, is working on another music-themed feature project – this one about Nat King Cole.

Titled Magic Window, the proposed feature-length documentary about the life of Nat King Cole, is said to be in post-production, with a 2013 debut expected.

The film will include two songs that were recently discovered in label EMI’s vaults, both never been released: the first is called Magic Window (also the title of the film), and the other is a recording of Cole signing with his then-six-year-old daughter Natalie Cole.

Natalie and Cole’s 92-year-old widow were both interviewed for the feature, among others.
