On the heels of a recent Black Folk Don't web series episode (atheism was the focus), I received an email from a rep for a film festival in Portland, OR, with the following request:

They're looking for movies with people of color that deal with atheism, freethinking, or science advocacy.

So, do black folks do atheism? Or more specifically, do black folks do atheism on film? I'd certainly like to think so! After all, we aren't a monolith.

Awards: Films will be juried and the awards will be recognition for:
