Steve Mcqueen’s Shame, which has been covered quite a bit on this site, was announced yesterday morning to screen at the 2011 Toronto Film Festival (see Tambay’s post HERE).

The first stills of the film, starring Michael Fassbender as Brandon, Carey Mulligan as his sister Sissy and Nicole Beharie in the role of his main love interest Marianne, were also released yesterday.

Yes, I KNOW, it pains me too not to see Nicole Beharie in any of the images.

However, given that some of us are excited about this film, I figured I’d post them on the site anyway.
