Tambay reported back in February (HERE) the news that plans were well under way for a stage musical adaptation of the Whitney Houston/Kevin Costner 1992 film The Bodyguard, which will open on the West End theater district in London at the Adelphi Theater on November 6th.

The David Ian produced play, which those involved say will NOT be a straight scene-for-scene remake of the film, will be directed by Thea Sharrock, and will be headlined by Tony and Grammy award winning actress Heather Headley and stage and TV actor Lloyd Owen.

Today, at a London press event, both of them made their public debut as you can see above.

So what do say folks; Yay or Nay?
