A Florida woman is grieving the loss of her husband and two children who drowned in their backyard pool on Thursday. Anne Dolce’s 41-year-old husband, Jean “Wes” Fontus, and two children, 5-year-old Emmie and 2-year-old Tyler, were found unresponsive at their home in Hollywood, Florida, according to People.

Emergency personnel rushed to the scene after receiving a 911 call and tried to revive Fontus and the children, but all three were later pronounced dead at the hospital, WFOR reports.

“They were all full of love, that’s the only word I can use to describe is love,” Dolce told WFOR while speaking about her beloved husband and children.

The family’s neighbor, Amparo Kostyo, said she is devastated by the tragedy.

“When they say two children drowned that crushed my heart,” Kostyo said. “When adult have accident or something, OK, it’s an adult.  What’s crushed my heart was the kids, I’m very sad.”

Loved ones, who launched a GoFundMe page to cover funeral expenses, said the two older girls went to school on Thursday morning while Dolce went to her office. Fontus stayed home with Emmie and Tyler that day.

“After breakfast, playtime and lunch, like any other day, Wes, Emmie and Tyler went for their last swim together in the family’s pool,” the organizers wrote on the GoFundMe page. “We imagine that they played in the pool, Emmie and Tyler climbing onto and splashing water at dad as always.”

Emmie, who was attending kindergarten at Beacon Hill Preparatory School, is described as “the light of every room.” The 5-year-old loved to read, swim and paint.

Tyler loved to play and dance.

“He would ride his little scooter all over the house and call out to Mom or Dad, ‘Look!’ every time he did or saw something he thought was interesting,” loved ones wrote. “When Tyler looked at you with those bright eyes and smile, he captured your heart.”

Fontus is remembered as someone who “opened his home and his heart to all who knew him.”

“His greatest asset was his children. More than anything else, he was a loving father devoted to his children in an inspiring way,” the GoFundMe page states.

Family and friends have dedicated a memorial in front of Dolce’s home. Investigators said they are still trying to figure out what led to the tragedy. Foul play is not suspected, according to police.
