Director Damian Lee (Sacrifice, King of Sorrow) is preparing to helm an action thriller titled The Truth starring Andy Garcia.

According to Deadline…”Garcia plays an ex-CIA op-turned political talk show host. He’s hired by a corporate whistle blower to expose her company’s cover-up of a massacre in a South American village.”

Co-starring in the production will be Forest Whitaker, Kim Coates, Deborah Kara Unger,Eva Longoria, Kevin Durand, Devon Bostick, Lara Daans and Steven Bauer .

Shooting begins later this month in Ontario and in the Dominican Republic. No word yet on Whitaker’s role.
