There is yet another saga in the beef between Future and NFL star Russell Wilson. Future, who has fired shots at Wilson multiple times through the years, appeared to bash the quarterback again when Quavo dropped his “Turn Yo Clic Up” track featuring him on Friday. The Purple Reign rapper also seemed to refer to Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan on the track.

“Big dawg status, bill hopper/ I ball in his mall for my brothers/ Goyard bag, tote the cutter/ I got it out the field, f**k Russell/ Go and ask Lori about the Patek, then go and ask Jordan, ask Dess/ Phillipe water, tryna drown a b***h, it’s a habit trickin’ on a b***h,” he rapped.

According to Vibe, Ciara has been at the center of the feud between Future, her ex-fiance, and Wilson, whom she married in 2016. Future and Ciara started dating in 2012, then got engaged a year later and welcomed their baby boy in 2014. Shortly after breaking up with Future, rumored to be cheating on Ciara, she started dating Wilson. The couple married in 2016 and welcomed a baby girl the following year. They also gave birth to a second child three years later.

According to People, Future fired shots at Wilson in 2019 when he hosted a radio program titled FREEBANDZ RADIO Presents: THE WIZRD show. The Atlanta rapper said at that time that Wilson had failed to stop his wife from constantly talking about her ex.

“He not being a man in that position,” Future said. “He not tellin’ her, ‘Chill out with that on the internet. Don’t even talk to him. I’m your husband! You better not even bring Future’s name up!’ If that was me, she couldn’t even bring his name up. She know that. She couldn’t even bring her exes’ names up.”

Future did another interview on the Durtty Boyz radio show days later and tried to silence the rumors about him and Wilson.

“We don’t have no problems,” he said. “It’s a social media problem. No, I don’t hate him. Totally not the deal. It was just the way we were carrying it, as far as being handled with baby Future. I don’t have nothing against him. And I’m happy for them.”

Future’s latest track is one of his many collaborations with Quavo. The pair have previously collaborated on songs such as “Picasso,” “Snitching” and “Congratulations (Remix).” Future released his most recent album, I Never Liked You, in 2022.
