The 48-year-old said she sometimes has to warn Wade about his slim-cut pants because they can be too revealing in the private region, particularly for someone who is "blessed" in that area.
"He likes a slim fit. And the thing about a slim-fit pants, if you are a blessed person, a blessed gentleman, I was like, 'Um, a lot of information there with that slim fit, with that particular cut. I can see your heartbeat," she said.
Kimmel asked the actress if she had considered "nixing those pants" that are too revealing.
"I will give him a heads up that it could be a problem," Union said. "He rarely listens. And he's like, 'What is the eggplant emoji and why is that in my comments?'"
While Kimmel was shocked to learn that the former NBA superstar didn't know the meaning of the eggplant emoji, Union said her husband now understands the symbol.
"He knows now! And I think it's the goal. I think it's the goal, is to have his comment section filled with [eggplant emojis]," she said.
The Bring It On actress promoted her new memoir, You Got Anything Stronger? while speaking with Kimmel. While the book reveals some of the serious aspects of her life, Union also wrote about less important matters, such as her love for strip clubs.
"There is a really famous strip club in Atlanta called Magic City," the actress said, adding that many of the visitors shout her name when she walks into the establishment. "It's a welcoming place."
The author said the most she has spent at a strip club on one night is about $20,000.
"You just want to make sure the ladies go home with a little something," she said.
According to People, Wade and Union celebrated their seven-year wedding anniversary in August. In April, the retired Miami Heat star said the couple has "worked on" their marriage constantly to strengthen their relationship.
"It's about learning each other, learning what she wants for her life and for her career and trying to support all those things," he said. "She had a career and a life before we met and she was doing perfectly fine. It's not my job to change who she is, it's my job to be part of the evolution. In this partnership, there are times when I have to lead, times when I have to step back and times where we are side by side. And I know when to shut up!"
