Gabrielle Union showered her stepson Zion with love and support at Miami Pride.
The actress, daughter Kaavia and her other stepson Zaire went to the festival with 11-year-old Zion on Sunday. Union posted several Instagram Stories showing the family partaking in the festivities.
Wade wasn’t able to make it, but the proud dad showed his support on social media, reports Celebrity Insider.
“We support each other with pride,” the NBA legend wrote.
Zaire, 17, also posted footage from the event.
“Love you lil bro no matter what,” he wrote for one post.
Many folks online were touched by the Wade family’s support of Zion.
Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle Union are doing parenting correctly. It’s extremely important for LGBT+ children to grow up in environments that nurture and encourage their overall growth as people. This should be the standard for all Black families.

I have nothing but UNCONDITIONAL RESPECT for @DwyaneWade and @itsgabrielleu and their oldest son for the way they OPENLY support Zion! This is truly one of the most beautiful things I’ve witnessed in this ugly day and age! #pride

Why are the girls making it seem like folks are only happy to see Gabrielle Union/D Wade openly support their queer child solely because they’re celebrities? Many of us Black, queer folk didn’t grow up with any of that open love around us, & we’re happy to see someone that does.

Acceptance, Love and Minding your own business is how we can start to change our world. Seeing Zaire Wade @itsgabrielleu and @DwyaneWade support Zion is important to world growth. You don’t have to agree with someone lifestyle but also no reason to hate it unless it’s hate. pic.twitter.com/HH8jETE3wy

I absolutely adore how the greatest shooting guard ever and Gabrielle Union are raising their son, Zion.
