The film centers around four long time bff’s who take a Caribbean bonding vacation only to be greeted with big fun and looming danger.

“Grown Girls Getaway” pairs Bobb with long time associate Angi Bones, Executive VP of Bobbcat Films.  Together Bobb and Bones have produced 11 box office hits and number of hit TV shows such as House of Payne, Meet the Browns and Rickey Smiley Show.

Described as a “Waiting to Exhale” meets “Hangover” , “Grown Girls Getaway” written by Cas Sigers is a co production between Bobb’s BobbCat Films and Siger’s and Vaugn’s Nina Holiday Entertainment. Imagine Media International helmed by Lisa Wickham is the Trinidad and Tobago production company.  Wickham also serves as producer along with co-producers Valencia Hawkins and Sherrese Moise.

The film is facilitated by the Trinidad and Tobago Film Company under the TTFC’s rebate program.  “Trinidad had a very attractive film rebate program so my producers and I explored the possibilities and concluded it was a partnership filled with great promise”, according to Bobb whose family roots are in Guyana.
