So O.K. it didn’t exactly set the box office world on
fire, but if you missed it and are still interested in seeing it, Geoffrey Fletcher’s film Violet & Daisy is coming out on
blu-ray DVD on November 19th
from New Video Group.
The oddball action/fantasy drama written and directed by Fletcher,
who won the 2010 Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay for his screenplay for Precious, stars Cody Horn, Saoirse Ronan, Alexis Bledel, Danny
Trejo, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and
the late James Gandolfini, and deals with
two teenage assassins and their latest target, who they unexpectedly find is a rather tough job and not exactly what they expected.
