We’re officially in the giving season, and GloRilla is giving back to one of her fans in a big way. According to Revolt, she sent one of her followers $1,000 to help cover her bills.

The fan reached out to the 23-year-old on Facebook to request a $400 loan via Cash App. Soon afterwards, the rapper responded and asked what the money was for. The fan said she needed it to cover bill payments, explaining that her birthday is coming up and things are tight financially.

One of her friends corroborated her story in the comments.

“This is my best friend… she works hella hard to take care of three children ALL BY HERSELF while working full time! [She has] been busting her ass and she deserves a break …” the friend wrote.

GloRilla sprung to action. Before the day was done, she doubled her request and sent her $1,000.

“Stay blessed,” she wrote in a message along with the cash.

The fan was incredibly grateful. Along with a screenshot of the transaction, she wrote:

“So I HAD TO MAKE ANOTHER ONE. ANYWAAAYS HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY TO ME ND REST OF MY BILLS PAID [sic] [sic] [sic] I AM BEYOND BLESSED. THANK YOU BIG GLO,” she wrote in a post, The Neighborhood Talk reports.

According to Revolt, GloRilla’s public generosity is not newfound. Last summer, when visiting her alma mater Martin Luther King Jr. College Preparatory High School in Memphis, she presented the school with a $25,000 check for both its seniors and its fine arts program.

“I want them to know that anything they put they mind to is possible, as long as they got a dream, they just gotta reach for the star,” she said at the time. “Growing up, didn’t nobody come up to our school when I was coming here [to] do stuff like this, so it feel real good to be able to have the platform to be able to come back and help students that come from where I came from.”
