Memphis rapper GloRilla performed live for the first time as part of Questlove’s legendary 50th-anniversary of hip-hop tribute. She also received her first Grammy Award nomination for her breakthrough hit song, “F.N.F. (Let’s Go).”

As if that weren’t sizable enough, Big Glo crossed another dream off her list by meeting Beyoncé at the Grammy show on Sunday. GloRilla shared the moment on social media while beaming with excitement. The two artists are smiling and hugging in a brief video clip.

“I met Beyoncé bye !!!!!!! My life is COMPLETE,” she captioned the post.

“I love you so much,” she told Queen Bey in the short video. GloRilla expressed her enthusiasm for the interaction on Facebook as well.

“I hugged Beyoncé. I’m never taking a bath again,” she said. “I’m finna get my 15-second conversation with Beyoncé tatted.”

“Ahh! I’m still not over it,” she added.

Kendrick Lamar’s “The Heart Part 5” ultimately won for best rap performance, defeating “F.N.F. (Let’s Go).” However, GloRilla was seemingly still excited, blessed and thrilled throughout the night.

She shared the stage with legends like De La Soul, Queen Latifah, Public Enemy, Rakim, Method Man, The Lox, Missy Elliott and more as part of the hip-hop 50th-anniversary tribute performance, curated by Questlove and presented by LL Cool J with narration from Black Thought. Glo brought nothing but high enthusiasm to the performance, and, according to HipHopDX, only she, Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Baby represented the genre’s current era.

GloRilla, who released her debut EP Anyways, Life’s Great … through Yo Gotti’s CMG Label in November, recently spoke with Grammy.com about her desire to work with Beyoncé soon.

“There’s a lot of people I want to do songs with that I’m a fan of,” she said. “But my top two that I’m extremely obsessed with is Beyoncé and Chief Keef. I want to work with Drake and Lil Wayne, too.”

GloRilla also talked about how her faith in manifesting has enabled her to accomplish her objectives. Perhaps this quick link-up will inspire Bey to bring their collaboration to life.
