The 49th annual Chicago International Film Festival, which runs this year from Oct. 10-24, has released, in the past hour, its “sneak preview” of just a tiny few of the films set to screen at this year’s festival; and two films that we’ve extensively covered, will be shown at this year’s CIFF.

The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and
Pete are listed on CIFF’s sneak preview list of films that will be screened
at this year’s festival.
And considering that Mister and Pete is already set to
open on Oct. 11 nationwide, it seems logical that the film will be the opening night film of this year’s CIFF
on Oct. 10th.
