Rapper French Montana was filming a music video Thursday night outside a Miami Gardens restaurant when gunfire erupted. Ten people were shot, including New Orleans rapper Rob49, NBC 6 reports.

According to local news outlet WSVN, the shooting occurred outside The Licking, and officials said there are possibly three crime scenes.

Rapper Ced Mogul was at the video shoot and told WSVN that a robbery occurred behind a nearby KFC before filming resumed at The Licking restaurant. The robbery victim, reported as a bystander to the production, was robbed of his watch, keys and wallet.

“[He asked to] call his mother and see if we can get spare car keys and make sure, you know, he’s OK, and then the gunshots went off,” Mogul told the outlet. “At least 13, 14, 15 gunshots. It was very rapid, it sounded like an assault rifle.”

One of the injured was 23-year-old up-and-coming rapper Rob49. The New Orleans native was scheduled to be in Houston on Saturday to perform as part of the Future and Friends One Big Party tour.

The rising rapper, whose legal name is Robert Thomas, was last seen in the back of a vehicle with French Montana before the massive gunfire began.

Ryan Nelson of NBC 6 shared a video provided by Ced Mogul of the two rappers in the car before the chaos.

French Montana’s team has not released an official statement on the rapper’s status. However, TMZ reports witnesses on the scene saw French’s bodyguards safely remove him from the scene.

Miami Gardens Police Department Detective Diana Gourgue told WSVN, “There are multiple shots, there are multiple cases, and we’re still working.”
