Some Gunna fans are looking at the rapper sideways after he showed off his new physique following his release from prison. The 30-year-old’s new body was on full display in the music video for his new song “Fukumean,” which sparked speculation he’s a clone.
According to Complex, Gunna responded to a fan on Twitter who tweeted a screenshot of the rapper who appears to have lost a significant amount of weight in the video.
“No way this is gunna,” they wrote.

The fan wasn’t the only one who noticed Gunna’s weight loss. After the “Fukumean” music video dropped on Wednesday, many viewers noted how shocked they were about his body transformation after being released from prison in December. Some even believe the rapper looks so different he must be a clone.
“Me after watching fukumean music video bc that’s not gunna,” another fan tweeted along with a meme showcasing a white woman on a plane declaring, “That motherf**ker is not real.”

One questioned with a GIF of a confused Oprah Winfrey, “that’s Gunna ??”

Gunna also addressed his haters on Instagram Stories, sharing a meme that was a nod to those who question his relevance in today’s rap game.
“Them: I can’t wait Until he fall off,” the meme reads with a picture of a man balancing on a thin chain between two fence posts. “Me:,” is written above the man’s head.
Gunna isn’t the first rapper to leave prison with a new body. After serving two years, Gucci Mane left 100 pounds lighter in 2016. At the time, fans thought a clone had taken his place, just like Gunna.
