A quick stroll through a store in any capitalist country would show an array of smiling strangers adorning all sorts of products. However, what happens to these friendly representatives once their 15 minutes of quasi-fame runs out?

That’s the question that was recently on one Twitter user’s mind, as they openly sparked a far-reaching conversation centered on bringing together the young Black women who adorned various hair care products during childhood.

“Where are these girls today? Show yourselves,” the user wrote, quote-tweeting another person who paid homage to the girls who were the face of hair relaxer products.

The tweet swiftly blew up, and many young women tapped in to share they were one of the people who were featured on the pictured products.

Some women who adorned other products also joined the conversation.

However, Twitter fact-checkers were quick to shut down people who tried to fib their way into the discussion.

One user with some negative comments was also promptly shut down in a humorous manner.

Another person went on to demand an update centered on some of the adult men who adorned various hair care products, too.

Keyshia Cole‘s own hair care endorsement also came up.

We also have to add that, after the OG Twitter thread began to die down, the legendary Kandi Burruss Tucker chimed in and shared that she, too, once graced the box of a hair product.

All in all, the whole discussion warmed many people’s hearts, as it was great to see the young ladies check in and share some brief updates.

What do you think about the Twitter thread, and were you ever featured on a product of some sort? Let us know down in the comment section.
