Halle Bailey dedicated a few moments of her time to a Twitter user who suggested her sister and musical partner, Chloe, was "overhyped."

On Monday, a Twitter user suggested the 23-year-old's appearance was overstated.

"I feel like Chloe Bailey is cute but y'all be overhyping shawty," the user wrote.

The next day, Halle defended her sister.

"Girl let's not start," she tweeted in response, adding angel and hush emojis. "Be blessed!! God loves you too!!!”

This isn’t the first time Halle had to put someone in their place for coming at her sibling. Back in March, Beyoncé's father and former manager, Matthew Knowles, said comparisons being drawn between Chloe and his daughter was “insulting.”

In an interview with Leah’s Lemonade, Knowles was asked if Chloe could play Beyoncé in a biopic and he wasn’t feeling the idea of someone being compared to his daughter.

"Okay, if you're talking about a movie, not talent-wise,” he said. "Talent-wise? Are you telling me talent-wise, somebody is an idiot enough to compare her to Beyonce, talent-wise?"

Halle took to Twitter not too long after to share her thoughts on the situation.

“How amazing is it that @ChloeBailey is already an icon,” Halle wrote in a tweet.

"I ride for my sister till the enddd okayyyy,” she wrote in a follow-up tweet.

Halle knows what it feels like to be the target of online attacks. When she was cast as Ariel in the live-action reboot of The Little Mermaid, she endured racist comments on social media. In an interview with Variety, Halle explained how she handled the hate.

“I feel like I’m dreaming and I’m just grateful and I don’t pay attention to the negativity,” she said. “I just feel like this role was something bigger than me and greater and it’s going to be beautiful. I’m just so excited to be a part of it.”

As Chloe and Halle continue their rise in the industry, they will always have each other's backs and we love to see it.
