Whether they’re attending the BET Awards together or bowling with Blueface and Chrisean Rock, Halle Bailey and DDG aren’t shy about showing off their relationship.

The pair’s union came up during Halle’s recent cover story for the upcoming issue of ESSENCE, which she completed alongside her sister, Chlöe Bailey.

“I’ve been a fan of his for years. I grew up being on YouTube and would always see the young Black creators and was constantly inspired by them. He was one of them,” Halle recalled, according to an Instagram preview the publication shared.

“I completely forgot about him. But then I saw that he was dropping music, and I really gravitated toward this one song. Coincidentally he messaged me — and the rest is history,” she continued.

Notably, upon being asked if she was in love with DDG, Halle responded affirmatively by saying, “Yes. For sure I am.”

While this snippet of the interview, which will be unveiled in full on Sept. 6, showcased Halle being sprung over DDG, she made sure to jump on Twitter to clarify that her mind is very much still on her money.

“Yes I’m in love but guess what I also have three movies I’ve filmed and lots of music I’ve been working on nonstopp,” the 22-year-old musician and actress tweeted on Monday afternoon, letting everyone that she’s still focused on her career despite being heart-eyes over DDG.

“Women can do it all,” she added. “That’s the beauty of us.”

It’s worth adding that Chlöe Bailey quote-tweeted her sister and hyped her up by making use of a popular GIF of Shereé Whitfield from The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

This isn’t the first time the pair’s relationship has come up during a sit-down. In fact, while DDG was being interviewed by DJ Akademiks earlier this summer, he spoke on why he’s so enamored with Halle, as Blavity previously reported.

“I honestly get inspired by my girl. She honestly motivated me to be better and work harder and get to certain levels,” he said.

“It’s like I’m in a different mode now where I’m getting inspired by somebody. I feel like it’s healthy in that way for me, ’cause it’s like a weight off my shoulders,” DDG continued. “It’s like, ‘OK, I need to work harder.’ It’s challenging in a good way. It just makes me want to go harder versus feeling overwhelmed or some s**t.”

What do you think about the pair’s relationship, and do you think they’re in it for the long-haul?
