At 56 years old, Halle Berry continues to defy stereotypes regarding age. The Oscar winner recently took to Instagram to celebrate her natural hair as she rocked an Afro.
“Sunday serve…my man loves this. Forward all complaints to him @vanhunt,” she captioned her post.
In the comments, fans and onlookers approved of the actor’s new look.
“A natural black woman is power and light. You embrace both,” one person commented.
“You could be bald and you will always look amazing, kudos to your man for this look, you wear it well,” another person said.
One person even asked if Berry was filming a biopic about Angela Davis due to her uncanny resemblance to the political activist.
As Blavity previously reported, Berry recently caused a bit of controversy when she posted a photo of herself enjoying a cup of coffee in the nude. Trolls accused her of posting a thirst trap.

Berry quickly clapped back with a since-deleted tweet that read, “Did you guys know the heart of a shrimp is located in its head?”
In a recent interview with Women’s Health, the Hollywood icon opened up about her journey with menopause.
“The most important thing about owning your sexuality as a woman is accepting the station you’re at — and embracing that,” she told the outlet. “And I say that because I’m smack dab in the middle of menopause.”
She continued, “I’m challenging all those stereotypes about how you have to look a certain way or feel a certain way. I’m my best self now that I reached 56 years old. I have the most to offer. I have zero blanks to give anymore. I’m solidly in my womanhood. I finally realize what I have to say is valuable, even if no one else agrees.”
