Emanating from the Southern Exchange Ballroom in Atlanta, Georgia, the 2021 HBCU Met Gala, produced by the HBCU Xperience, took place. This event honors the originality and great strides that HBCU students are making currently. This year's host is HBCU alumnus of North Carolina A&T, Terrence J, who clearly sees the value in making time for these important cultural events.

Not only were students dressed to the nines and ready to have a good time, but they also received awards some standout students were received awards and were recognized in the spaces of Best Athlete, Best Scholar, and Best Creative.

The evening concluded with a dazzling fashion show that really exuded the Met Gala vibe that we've all come to be familiar with. Check out some flicks of the event below.
