Continuing our pre-festival highlights of the 2012 Hollywood Black Film Festival, here's a dramedy from director Ibrahim Yilla, titled The Great Divide, Yilla's second feature-lenght effort.

The film's synopsis reads:

Tosha Landry, eccentric wife and nucleus of a circle of very ethnically diverse friends, is a student of the ancient Indian teaching of the Tantra and Kama Sutra. One Friday evening at the monthly get-together, Tosha introduces a game designed to elicit feelings and impressions men and women have about each other.

As you probably can expect, the evening isn't as zen as Tosha may have initially hoped.

The film stars several familiar names and faces like Tichina Arnold, Darrin Dewitt-Henson, Richard T. Jones, Golden Brooks, Rocsi Diaz and Clyde Jones.

It's produced by Dan Garcia, Wendy Wiltz and Jason Hewitt Cast.

The Great Divide will next screen at the 2012 Hollywood Black Film Festival (Oct. 25-28).
