Sean "Diddy" Combs is arguably one of the most talented and strategic minds in hip-hop. With a career that has spanned now three decades with the New York-born rapper beginning by commanding the charts, Diddy has now transcended into other projects that will undoubtedly create a lasting legacy.

Because of his popularity, much of Diddy's personal life becomes public information, especially his relationships. Unfortunately, fans have also had to witness the "I'll Be Missing You" artist's personal tragedies as well. In November 2018, Kim Porter, Diddy's ex-girlfriend and mother to three of his six children, unexpectedly passed away at 49 due to pneumonia.

Prior to her death, Porter told Diddy something specifically, which he shared with CNN in April 2019.

"One night I was checking on her, and she was like, 'Puffy, take care of my babies.' She actually said that to me before she died."

Following her wishes, he has done just that. The Ciroc developer is intent on leaving a legacy for his six kids. Though largely photographed, not much is known about Diddy's descendants. Read on for more context:

1. Justin

Born on December 30, 1993, Justin Dior Combs is Diddy's oldest child who he shares with celebrated fashion designer Misa Hylton-Brim. Justin played football at UCLA, graduating from the institution in 2016. Since his playing days came to an end in undergrad, it appears Justin might be following his father's route and pursuing a career in entertainment.

2. Quincy

Born on June 4, 1991, Quincy is Porter's son from a previous relationship with producer Al B. Sure! When Diddy and Porter began dating in 1994, Quincy was already three years old. That same year, Diddy legally adopted Quincy.

Already making his mark as a singer with hits such as "Late Night Flex" and "Snuggle Up," Quincy can also add actor to his resume. The 29-year-old has appeared on Star and the Netflix Christmas film, "The Holiday Calendar."

3. Christian

Born in 1998, Christian is the first child Diddy and Porter share. Often referred to as the "It's All About the Benjamins" rapper's twin, Christian models and has plans to take over the rap industry. Christian signed a deal with his father's company, Bad Boy records on April 1, 2016.

Going by the rap moniker "King Combs," he dropped both the single and music video for "Legacy," a track honoring late mother Porter, on October 16.

King says in the song, via Complex: "I lost my moms last year, took the biggest L. Know her spirit got me evolving … Separating my path with a different trail, I prevail/Anything just to see my favorite lady/Built for everything, that's how my pops raised me."

Christian also released a new collection with singer Rihanna's lingerie line Savage X Fenty in October 2020, showing off pieces of the new collection during the brand's virtual runway show.

4. D'Lila Star and Jessie James

Born in December 2006, twins D'Lila Star and Jessie James are Diddy's second and third children with Porter. It's truly impossible to spot one without the other, and both girls appear to be quickly following their late mother's footsteps when it comes to modeling. Their Instagram, @the_combs_twins, features shot after shot of them posing in designer threads or alongside members of their family.

5. Chance

Shortly before D'Lila Star and Jessie James were born, Diddy and former girlfriend Sarah Chapman welcomed a daughter, Chance, on July 20, 2006. According to an article by the New York Daily News, the Grammy-winning artist assumed "legal responsibility" in October 2007.

"At first, I wasn't sure if this was my child," Diddy said at the time. "Now that it has become clear she is, I will take care of her for the rest of her life."

Because she is so close in age to her twin sisters, the three are frequently seen photographed together.

Though stricken with personal tragedies at an early age, Diddy's children nevertheless persist and from the looks of things, will be making their own mark in this world by whatever means necessary.
