San Antonio-based R&B artist SPZRKT has dropped some more of his auditory gold. This smooth track, which lifts a sample from Sampha’s EP Dual, is masterfully crafted by one of my favorite producers, Tyshane Thompson, with help from Elite808 Productions and a collective known as Mal Cres. The sultry saxophonist skills of Masego are on full display and help hold the song up as a blend of cool jazz and hip-hop. SPZRKT delivers with his trademark harmonies and the result is a song which you will probably have on repeat in your pre-Valentine’s Day playlist.
