I’ll be avoiding the Apple store in SOHO (NYC) tonight, because I suspect it will be overflowing with bodies, given who will be there.
Idris Elba, Naomie Harris, and director Justin Chadwick, will be at the Apple Store in SOHO to talk about their latest collaboration, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, which will be in theaters on November 29th, 2013, courtesy of The Weinstein Company.
The trio will be at the Apple store for a conversation that starts at 7pm. Address: 103 Prince Street.
Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom highlights Mandela’s early life, education and 27 years in prison.
South African stars Tony Kgoroge, Riaad Moosa, Zolani Mkiva, Jamie Bartlett, Lindiwe Matshikiza, Deon Lotz and Terry Pheto, round out the film’s cast.
The Weinstein Company will open the film in the USA on November 29 – likely as one of its Oscar contenders.
