Things have been getting serious with Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and her boyfriend Dralin Carswell. Their relationship has been playing out on the latest season of Mama June’s Road to Redemption. Apparently, fans thought wedding bells were ringing for 16-year-old Honey Boo Boo and her 20-year-old boyfriend after she was spotted with what appeared to be an engagement ring. But they say the rumors are false.
Engagement rumors shot down
A rep for the teen tells Page Six that Honey Boo Boo’s ring is not an engagement ring and is “just a ring.” The diamond ring was featured in a series of photos Page Six published in a recent post featuring her sister Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon debuting her newborn twins.
In the pics, Honey Boo Boo swept hair off her face with her left hand in one of the images, showing off the diamond. She also showcased the ring while giving a smooch to one of the babies in a separate photo.
