Just as Netflix just increased their prices, Hulu is dropping their prices for a limited time.
For new or returning Hulu subscribers, you can get their introductory-level plan for $5.99. After your first year, the $7.99 regular price will begin.
According to the streaming giant, this is to promote upcoming Fall TV, and not a reaction to Netflix’s price increase.
In addition to airing next-day, new episodes of several current shows, Hulu just netted a few new deals, which include ABC’s TGIF programming block and a deal with 20th Century Fox.
The $5.99 deal began about two weeks ago, but they just started marketing it late last week.
