The slew of suspicious packages sent to high profile Democrats and Democratic allies has had the nation on edge. Journalists noted a connection between the recipients: each person had publicly criticized President Donald Trump. This led to some beginning to call the unknown terrorist "The MAGAbomber."

A suspect has now been found and identified as 56-year-old Cesar Sayoc, reports The Washington Post. He was arrested on Friday morning.

Law enforcement officials have identified the man arrested in connection with suspected bombs as Cesar Sayoc, 56. He has an Aventura, Florida, address, and was arrested at a business in Plantation, about 20 miles away. https://t.co/JBfMZIa9C0 pic.twitter.com/j2TR3Nz83Q

Sayoc has a criminal history, including larceny, grand theft and fraud. He was arrested for a bomb threat in Miami in 2002, to which he pleaded guilty with no trial and was sentenced to probation.

He is known to be a supporter of President Trump; footage of him at a MAGA rally has surfaced online.

Also on Friday, the FBI confirmed an eleventh package was discovered addressed to Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ), according to NPR.

“We will prosecute them, him, her, whoever it may be, to the fullest extent of the law,” President Trump promised at a White House event, calling the bombs "terrorizing acts."

"We must never allow political violence to take root in America," the president added. "And I’m committed to doing everything in my power as president to stop it and stop it now.”

The FBI, U.S. Postal Service and other federal agencies are continuing in their investigations. We'll keep you posted with more updates as they arise.
