New York Attorney General-elect Letitia James has announced her plans to investigate Donald Trump.

As the first African American elected to a statewide office in New York, she will continue the work that was started by New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood and former Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, who was replaced after sexual misconduct allegations forced him to transition out of his term early. James plans to probe illegalities in his real estate holdings, his son's 2016 meeting with Russian officials, government subsidies, violations of the emoluments clause in the U.S. Constitution and potentially illegal operations within the Trump Foundation.

“We will use every area of the law to investigate President Trump and his business transactions and that of his family as well,” James said. “We want to investigate anyone in his orbit who has, in fact, violated the law.”

On Tuesday, she shared a New York Times article to her Twitter about another politician's recent conviction in which she argued she'll use her new platform to fight against corruption and hold all parties involved accountable.

The 60-year-old public advocate recently made headlines when she spoke out about the ruling to dismiss charges against mother Jazmine Headley. Headley's 1-year-old baby was snatched from her arms during an arrest.

It's clear James is ready to make waves. Trump better watch out.
