A police investigation was launched in Los Angeles after Drake’s father allegedly received disturbing phone calls at his home.
Initially reported by TMZ, police showed up at the home of Dennis Graham after he notified them of an unknown person placing harrowing phone calls and text messages.
During their reported communication attempts, the unknown culprit mentioned Freemasons and Drake, though their intentions were murky and ambiguous by the end of the interaction. The calls and texts reportedly took place over 15 minutes.
No other details are known about the situation and the calls.
At the moment, Drake is currently on the road on his It’s All a Blur Tour, co-headlining with his Her Loss collaborator, 21 Savage. Starting in Chicago earlier this month, it will run through early October and hit major cities like Nashville, Miami, Atlanta, New Orleans, Austin, New York City and more.
