Good news coming out of Sundance! Netflix has enthusiastically picked up the new film starring and executive produced by Jessica Williams. Titled, The Incredible Jessica James, the movie also co-stars Lakeith Stanfield of Atlanta, and was grabbed by Netflix ahead of its world premiere as the Sundance Film Festival's Closing Night selection. Jim Spouse will serve as the director with Michael B. Clark and Alex Turtletaub of Beachside as producers. Kerri Hundley joins Williams as executive producer.

In the film, written by Spouse, Williams plays a New York playwright trying to get her life together after a breakup. Things get interesting when she meets a new guy named Boone, played by Chris O'Dawd, and they have to "discover how to make it through the tough times in a social media obsessed post-relationship universe."

The film is set to premiere on Netflix later this year.
