Rapper Ja Rule has announced his latest business venture is launching a collection of premium wines with his new label, Rose Vine Cellars.
According to a press release, the label was founded in partnership with winemaker Ross Reedy and Wines That Rock, which catalyzed the highly anticipated creation: the Red Rose Cabernet Sauvignon and the Autographed Limited Edition bottle.
Ja Rule and Red Vine Cellars are committed to producing exceptional wines while attracting sophisticated wine enthusiasts to their products.
The Red Rose Cabernet Sauvignon, priced at $100, has rich notes of blackcurrant, cherry and dark chocolate, all balanced with velvety tannins. Each bottle has 60-year-old vine origins from the Alexander Valley Region in Sonoma County in Northern California.
On Tuesday, Ja Rule released a statement about the signature wines and what he hopes to gain from the business venture.
“This launch is near and dear to my heart; one of my favorite things to do after a long day is pour myself a nice glass of wine,” the 47-year-old said.
He continued, “This collab with wine master Ross Reedy and Wines That Rock is something we’ve spent a lot of time on because we wanted it to be perfect. Our goal was to create something unique, sophisticated and luxurious, and this collection is exactly that! I’m very proud of what we’ve accomplished!”
The company believes “giving roses” is a sign of respect for each other and that creating top-tier wine is a “tribute to the energy and life” within its culture.
“Roses have a special significance. Giving roses to a friend has always been a way to give a nod, an acknowledgment of the full respect one shares with another. A symbol of love and deference. We give people their roses as a way of honoring them,” according to the website.
The wines are available for purchase through the Red Vine Cellars website.

- The Red Rose Autographed Black Wax Dipped Limited Edition Cabernet Sauvignon is priced at $150.
- The Red Rose Cabernet Sauvignon Autograph & Rose Limited Edition Set is priced at $250 and is available for pre-order and will begin shipping the last week of July.
