Home Video has announced that the Jackie Robinson bio-pic 42, will
be released on Blu-ray/DVD next month, July
16.
So far, the only extras that have been announced that will be included on the DVD are three behind-the-scenes featurettes: Stepping
into History, Full-Contact Baseball and The Legacy of the Number 42.
No word as yet about any director’s commentary by Brian
Hegeland, or by actors Chadwick Boseman, Harrison
Ford and Nicole Beharie, but it would seem likely that there will be.
