JAY-Z ran into Kelly Rowland at a Los Angeles event on Wednesday and the interaction was just too pure.
The viral encounter took place at the star-studded screening of JAY-Z's upcoming film The Harder They Fall, PopSugar reports.
The "Empire State of Mind" singer lit up when he turned around and saw the former Destiny's Child member at the event. His jaw dropped in shock as he went to embrace the "Motivation" singer. Rowland appeared to be just as excited as she greeted the 51-year-old artist, smiling from ear to ear.
"I didn't even know you're here," JAY-Z can be heard saying while embracing Rowland.

Rowland rose to fame in the 1990s while performing with Destiny's Child, alongside Beyoncé, LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett. The latter two later parted ways with the group before Michelle Williams joined. The trio separated in 2005.
Rowland, who has kept a close relationship with the couple throughout the years, spoke with Entertainment Tonight earlier this year and expressed the value of their friendship. The "Brown Eyes" singer said her relationship with Beyoncé and Williams is especially precious.
"We've known each other for so long and the industry doesn't really make friendships," she said. "It's the nature of it, and we still have each other after all these years. And I'm just so grateful for them and they are a highlight of my life. Not professionally, but our friendship and our sisterhood — you're going to make me cry."
Rowland said she was overcome with emotion when Beyoncé and Williams met her baby boy earlier this year.
"The girls were literally over here at the house just recently and when they met the baby it was like another part of my heart just," she said. "Being able to share space with Michelle and Bey is truly a gift."
