With a government shutdown looming, thanks to a face-off between Congress and the president over government spending, as a new fiscal year begins tomorrow – with Obamacare (aka the Affordable Care Act) the most contentious of issues on the spending bill – the folks at Funny Or Die have released a new video that humorously highlights the benefits of the Affordable Care Act, starring a familiar face in Jennifer Hudson, and parodying a popular TV drama series in Scandal. 

Hudson stars in Funny Or Die’s Scandalous, as “Lydia Cole,” a fixer anxious for a juicy scandal to fix, but is repeatedly presented with scandals that will all be “handled” by the Affordable Care Act.
