Jeopardy viewers made it a mission to roast two contestants after their tragically wrong answers involving Diana Ross.

As TV Insider reports, the mishap occurred during “Final Jeopardy,” when Ken Jennings gave the clue, “In 2021, at age 95, this singer achieved a Guinness World Record for the oldest person to release an album of new material.” The right answer was Tony Bennett, who released Love for Sale with Lady Gaga last September. However, when it came time for contestants Finn Corrigan and Karen Johnson to give their answers, they wrote “Who is Diana Ross?” which is wrong. While Ross did release an album last year, she is only 77 years old.

Fans took the contestants to task for thinking Ross was older than her actual age, with one writing, "TWO #Jeopardy contestants thought Diana Ross was 95 years old in 2021…95. years. old. I assume they went straight to jail?"

"I wonder if Diana Ross is offended that two #Jeopardy contestants thought she was 95 years old…" wrote another, and another felt like this latest Jeopardy blunder on Black culture was a sign of bigger things.

"Last week, a Jeopardy contestant thought Aretha Franklin was in the Supremes. Tonight, two out of three contestants thought Diana Ross was the answer to: In 2021, what 95 year old singer released an album of new material? These are surely signs of the apocalypse," they wrote.

Both Johnson and Corrigan responded to the Twitter lashing, with Johnson writing, “Deepest apologies to the iconic Diana Ross! I didn’t really think you were the answer, but was running out of time and had to put something!”

Corrigan responded, “Me too! I knew she was not nearly that old but better to write something than nothing. Just glad we’re in this together hahahaha.”

Thankfully, Ross hasn’t responded to the blunder.
