Each time Jordan Peele gives an interview, we're constantly thinking about how grateful we are that he decided to end the critically-acclaimed, box-office smash the way he did.

A few months ago, we learned that an alternate ending for the film, set to be included on its Blu-Ray and DVD release, would depict officers coming to arrest Chris (as opposed to Rod rescuing him) for the murders of the Armitage family. That scene, which ends in Rod visiting Chris in prison, is already floating around on the internet.

However, in an interview with Yahoo!, Peele reveals that the scene included in on the home release is not the only alternate ending they had in mind, saying "many more were on paper."

One of these endings gives Chris the same fate as Andre (Lakeith Stanfield).

You guessed it….the sunken place.

Peele said, "Rod comes to break into the gated community, finds his way in. He’s looking for Chris and he sees Chris looking in a window on Main Street, and he goes ‘Chris!’ and Chris turns to him and goes, ‘I assure you, I don’t know who you’re talking about."

See, like we said, more reasons why we enjoy the film's original ending.

Recently at the MTV Movie & TV Awards, Daniel Kaluuya (Chris) won the 'Next Generation' award and Lil Rel Howery (Rod) won 'Best Comedic Performance.'

Be sure to cop the 2-disc release, which includes the alternate ending, on May 23.
