Jordan Peele's Get Out has been killing it since its release late February. The people love it. It got a Chance co-sign. It had a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes (now an almost-perfect score … thanks, Armond White).

And its sales have been astronomical, rising higher and higher with every passing week. Numbers certainly don't lie; this week's news shows that for a factor.

After another great week in theaters, the psychological thriller has made history by surpassing the $200 million mark. According to Deadline, "the split is $173.8 million domestic and $30.5 million overseas" with sales expected to increase.

This is a huge win for Peele, the cast and the crew who have received ample praise for the film. Peele joins the likes of other black industry heavy-hitters like F. Gary Gray, John Singleton and Keenan Ivory Wayans.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Peele spoke of the impact his movie has not just financially, but socially. "We’re at the beginning of a renaissance where people are realizing black films can not only work at the box office, but they can work because there’s been a void."

Congrats to all involved!
