Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves debuted a new hairstyle, and fans shared their thoughts after the news anchor posted a photo on her Instagram account.

According to Atlanta Black Star, Moonves has hosted CBS’ long-running reality show since its debut in 2000. Season 25 aired on Aug. 2, and the 53-year-old shared a snapshot from the series set on Thursday.

“Who’s ready? LET’S GO!! #BB25,” Moonves wrote in her post’s caption.

The TV personality also shared the photo on X, formerly known as Twitter, and fans noticed how different she looked with her new hairdo.

Some fans praised Moonves for stepping out of her comfort zone and trying something new.

“I dig it. Trying new things I see. Cute girl. Cute. 🥰” one social media user wrote.

“THIS BOB?? DONT HURT EM NOW JULIE 🔥” another wrote.

“Let’s all agree that she ate,” a third user wrote.

Meanwhile, Hollywood Unlocked shared the photo on Instagram and received mixed reactions from users in the comments section.

“I definitely didn’t like the 1st hair, I’m not so sure about this either on her.. Maybe it will grow on me. Hm,” one commenter wrote on Instagram.

“A mess then and now!! Try again,” another wrote.

“I thought this was a black woman at first. She looks good,” a third user wrote.

“I thought this was Erica Campbell,” another person wrote.

While Moonves’ new style sparked conversation on social media, fans also commented on what they expect to see from the new season. The show follows a group of people living under one roof, with cameras documenting their whereabouts 24/7.

As Blavity reported, fans were calling for former contestant Kyle Capener’s removal after he stated that he wanted an all-white alliance and made comments that viewers deemed racist about POC contestants. He was later voted out of the house in September 2022.
