Keke Palmer surprised the world with her pregnancy news when she revealed her growing baby bump when hosting Saturday Night Live back in December 2022.

Recently, Palmer shared another important detail with the world, but this time, it was by accident! During her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Palmer discussed her pregnancy and let it slip that she is having a boy.

This is the first time Palmer has spoken about the sex of her child. This will be the first child for Palmer and her boyfriend, Darius Jackson, who she has been dating since 2021.

Palmer was a successful child star that transitioned into adulthood, and now the Akeelah and the Bee and Nope actress is having her own child.

While on the show, was discussing her pregnancy with Fallon, who is a Virgo like her, and then shared her experience of working with actor Kel Michell from Kenan and Kel when she hosted Saturday Night Live.

“Kel is another Virgo like us, from Chicago!” said Palmer. “We’re from the same city. So I was so excited to get the opportunity to work with Kel. Like it was a dream come true for me.” 

Fallon said in response, “Now I’m thinking since we’re speaking of Virgos….[the] baby, do you know what—I know you’re into signs and all that…”

Palmer then hinted that she would give birth in March and noted that the child will be either a Pisces or an Aries.

“I’m not sure exactly,” she continued. “Like, I mean, Pisces—let me know, guys. I mean, Pisces are known to be very deep. They’re emotional creatures.”

Palmer went on, adding, “So I just want to make sure I’m not too blunt for my baby boy,” letting the news slip.

She continued, “I don’t want to be like, ‘Look, what’s up?’….because sometimes I can be a little too, ‘Tell it like it is,’ you know? I need to wade in the water with a Pisces, wade in the water. Just keep it chill, child.”

Viewers watching the show were excited to witness the slip-up and they took to social media to share their excitement.
