There is yet another twist in the saga of Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson. The couple appeared to be drifting apart in recent weeks after their personal issues were widely discussed on social media. Now, however, it looks like the pair have worked out their differences.

According to People, the two came together on Saturday to celebrate Palmer’s 30th birthday. Jackson, according to the publication, described the actress as his “partner in crime” during the celebration.

The celebration continued on social media when Jackson posted a tribute to Palmer. In his post, the fitness instructor included some heartfelt words and a video of Palmer being silly with the couple’s baby boy.

“Happy Birthday to a one of a kind being,” he wrote. “Hoping your 30s brings you many joys & triumphs!”

Jackson also went live on Instagram as the couple were enjoying a meal at a restaurant on Palmer’s birthday.

“D, know you’ve been taking me out on my birthday as always. I mean, it’s not always my birthday but you always do take me out,” Palmer said to Jackson during the stream. “But I just thank you for making it special for my birthday, that’s so sweet.”

As Blavity previously reported, Jackson faced heavy criticism from the public when he went to social media to call out Palmer for the outfit she wore at Usher’s My Way: Las Vegas Residency show.

“It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom,” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

Jackson added to his statement in another tweet.

“We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is,” he wrote. “This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case.”

Palmer also faced criticism from people who feel that she was being disrespectful to her partner by getting too cozy with Usher. After all the raging debate, however, it looks like everything is fine between the couple.
