KeKe Palmer offered an apology to actress Kate Winslet for her previous comments regarding her infamous scene on a makeshift raft in Titanic. In 2017, The Insecure star proved she was just like the rest of us Titanic fans when she revealed on Steve Harvey's talk show that she, too, had a bone to pick with Winslet's character, Rose, for not saving Jack, played by Leonardo DiCaprio.

"Everybody in here knows that she should've got up off that bed and shared it with him," she said in 2017, per E! News.

"I'll never get over that scene, she over there looking at him while he's freezing. It's been hard to watch a movie of hers since," Palmer continued.

But it looks like she's had a change of heart now that she's gone back and rewatched the film again. Palmer delivered a new message to Winslet, via Entertainment Tonight, at the Insecure season five premiere over the weekend. Upon reflection of a separate scene earlier in the movie where Rose breaks Jack free from being chained to a pipe while the boat begins to sink, she found Rose's action as redemption.

"When I watched it again, the second time around did y'all remember how she was up in that water for him? She really was when he was tied up with that thing?" she excitedly started.

"Kate Winslet, mama.. Mama, I came at your neck in the water," she began her apology. "But I need you to know when I seen you earlier in the movie — when I watched it back, I played it back and when your man was tied up like a prisoner to that pipe pole, and you came in there swimming and trudging through that water, you had my respect, sister."

Fans of the Hustlers actress sounded off on Twitter — but it doesn't seem like Palmer's change of heart has spread to others yet.

"[Keke Palmer] I also questioned her not sharing but I am still mad about her throwing that damn diamond in the water!" another person said.
